As humans we are driven to push our bodies and reach our limits. Doing an Ironman 70.3 was that limit for me. When I started my training for IM70.3 it was a complete mess. I had no structure, my only plan was to try and get in the distance. It was then that we were introduced to Triadict Coaching. I now had structure and a plan on completing my goal. With his structured workouts complementing my busy schedule I could feel my body getting stronger. I can honestly say that after 3 year with Lowaldo and completing 2 IM70.3, an ultra triathlon and now heading for the full IM, that I would not have been able to do what I do without his help, training plans and motivation.

Lowaldo Van Der Merwe
Triathlon Coach • South African • Based in Dubai, UAE

I got into triathlon in 2018, confident in my ability from years of cycling and running.

It didn’t take long to realise I had been doing it wrong.

Everything changed when I started working with a coach. I began training consistently, 8–12 hours per week, with structure and purpose. My performance improved rapidly, but more importantly, my entire approach to training changed.

Over time, I saw how many athletes were making the same mistakes I once made — training without structure, without guidance, and without understanding how to balance intensity, volume and recovery.

With a background in cricket coaching, and inspired by my late father’s influence as a runner and coach, I decided to start coaching triathletes. Today, I work with athletes remotely, helping them train with purpose and perform when it matters most.

My vision is simple.

To help you unlock your potential, build confidence, and become the athlete you are capable of being.
